SUPERSTAR SKIN!

Wanna look like a SUPERSTAR at the Debs and wow all your classmates (not to mention your date)?! READ ON!!

Every beautiful makeup look starts with a great canvas! So start preparing yours now!! That includes no sleeping with your makeup on!

To ensure your skin is in tip-top shape for the Debs, in order to have really beautiful makeup, you really need to start preparing your skin in the months before hand. Read the following tips to achieve catwalk style skin!

NUMBER 1:
Drink 2 litres of water

Yes you’ve heard it before, but it really does work! Water clears out toxins, and can really help improve those dark circles (achieved by all those hours of study, right?!)

NUMBER 2:
Cleanse Tone Moisturise!

Skincare regimes should take this exact order. Cleanse your skin, with a cleanser suited to your skin type. There are loads of products out there so choose one carefully, that won’t break the bank either.
(RUTH LAWLORS TOP TIP- If you have dry skin stay clear of wipes, and if you’ve oily skin keep well away from oily cleansers)
Toners help tighten any large pores, although some cleansers come with toners as a 2 in 1. Good money saving option, and more money towards the dress!
Moisturising the skin leaves skin soft and gives you a better base for applying makeup. Don’t put your moisturiser around your eye area, as this will make eyes puffy, instead apply it as if you were wearing glasses, and were to ignore the space that the glasses would be on.

NUMBER 3:
Body Beautiful!

Exfoliate away dead dry skin with a loofah brush, and a good exfoliating body wash. No need for expensive ones, you can pick one up in your local pharmacy.
If you have flaky skin on your face, Simple have a really nice exfoliator called “Smoothing Cleansing Scrub.” You don’t need to exfoliate every day. You can exfoliate your body once a week, or every two weeks, depending on how much fake tan you wear  and your face just once every two weeks.

NUMBER 4:
Sunkissed Glow- or – Pale and Mysterious?

Don’t feel pressured into wearing fake tan!! Be yourself, and confident in your appearance! For those of you that want that sunkissed look, start trying out some tans now. There are some really light natural tans, and some really dark tans out there. If you want a professional look, and like it dark, its worth splashing out and going for the professional spray tan. (If you’re prone to blackheads, don’t use the tan on your face)Most models wont put tan near their faces.

Follow the above tips, and your makeup will look beautiful!
